Rolling Solutions builds the majority of its software on top of the Java 6 SE Platform. We have standardized around the Apache Tomcat 6 container and utilize JUnit 4, MySQL 5 all running on Ubuntu Linux. Our applications make use of AJAX design patterns and conform strictly to XHTML 1.0. We tend to be more hands on with technologies and develop our own internal frameworks more often than we leverage 3rd party options, so a strong understanding of programming concepts is more valuable than familiarity with specific libraries.
